Diesel Mechanic Job in Matthews, NC

Truck Pit Stop is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to work on diesel engines and related truck systems at our heavy-duty repair shop at 416 Seaboard Dr in Matthews, NC.

Position type: Contract
Pay: $45–$55 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Location: 416 Seaboard Dr, Matthews, NC 28104

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines
• Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Troubleshoot engine performance issues
• Inspect trucks and identify needed repairs
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications

• Diesel engine repair experience required
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
