Remote Truck Diagnostics & Troubleshooting in Charlotte
Call us before a warning light or drivability problem turns into the wrong repair decision. We can review the truck or trailer symptoms, fault codes, warning lights, recent repairs and operating conditions with the driver or dispatcher. The goal of remote diagnostics is to choose the next practical step: continue only if it is safe, send a mobile technician when available, or bring the truck to our Matthews shop for hands-on testing.
Call (704) 219-3199 to discuss the issue. Remote guidance can organize the information and narrow the next test, but it cannot confirm every failure or replace hands-on inspection for safety-critical, intermittent or complex problems.
What remote diagnostics can help us decide
A warning light, no-start, charging problem, electrical fault, air or brake concern, vibration, power loss or drivability complaint can have several possible causes. We ask focused questions and review the information available. We do not claim that a fault scan alone proves which part failed.
What to have ready
- Truck or trailer make, model and current location
- Dashboard warning lights, fault codes and visible symptoms
- When the problem began and whether it is intermittent or constant
- Recent repairs, replaced parts or operating changes
- Whether the vehicle can move safely and any delivery deadline
When the truck needs hands-on testing
If the issue requires circuit testing, engine or transmission diagnostics, brake inspection, suspension work, tire repair, welding or a DOT inspection, we schedule the right in-shop service at 416 Seaboard Dr, Matthews, NC 28104. For an urgent roadside problem, mobile service is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m., within approximately 50 miles, depending on technician availability and shop workload. Mobile service is $350 per call plus $160 per labor hour, with no minimum.
If the truck must come to the shop and cannot move safely, we can arrange towing through an independent third-party provider.
Practical guidance without inflated claims
Remote review may help us spot missing information, identify a sensible test path or prepare for the right repair. The confirmed diagnosis, estimate, parts requirements and timing follow the actual inspection. Warranty applies to parts supplied and installed by Truck Pit Stop; customer-provided parts are not covered for parts or labor.
